This position performs electrical repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations in residential and light commercial settings throughout Northern Virginia.

Job Summary
The Licensed Service Electrician performs and coordinates the installation, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and service of electrical products and systems in residential and light commercial settings.
Job Duties
- Perform installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and services
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine the appropriate repairs
- Evaluate the general condition of electrical equipment and identify potential safety concerns
- Read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications as they relate to electrical work
- Identify the proper materials and quantities needed for new installations and repair projects
- Accurately present repair and installation options to customers
- Perform electrical safety inspections
- Complete work in a professional, safe, and code compliant manner
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and the office regarding completed and recommended work
Minimum Requirements
- Must hold a valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license or higher
- Journeyman license will be verified prior to employment and or assignment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding electrical issues and recommended solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
