A Mister Sparky Service Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the installation and service of electrical products and services in residential and light commercial settings. This role involves managing a team of electricians, ensuring efficient scheduling, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include training, performance reviews, and driving sales and profit growth.
- Scheduling and Dispatch: Managing the scheduling and dispatch of electricians to service jobs.
- Team Management: Overseeing the training, development, and performance of the electrician team.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Compliance: Maintaining compliance with NEC, local codes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Financial Management: Monitoring financial performance, ensuring cost control, and driving revenue growth.
- Sales and Profit Growth: Implementing strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the branch.
- Technical Expertise: Providing technical guidance and support to the electrician team.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Safety: Ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all team members.
- Performance Management: Conducting routine performance reviews and providing regular feedback.
- KPI Management: Actively managing and driving key performance indicators
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential electrical work demonstrating proficiency in installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is a standard requirement.
- Communication: Strong communication skills are crucial for interacting with customers, explaining issues, and providing solutions.
